Progenex Protein Powder Review

With there being so many protein powders out there, it can be very hard to figure out which you should be taking. This will be a review of the protein powder Progenex Recovery.

Progenex Effectiveness

I will be the first to admit that it’s common knowledge that if you’re working out it can help you to take a protein supplement to enhance your recovery, but it’s very hard to really feel what the protein powder is doing for you. Progenex Recovery protein is the first protein powder that has actually made me feel like I was recovering faster. I will note that I train my body VERY hard, and am very in-tune with how my body is functioning. But when I first started taking Progenex, the days that I took it versus the days I didn’t, were very apparent, and my body was feeling better and more refreshed on the days I took it.


Taste

Let me start by saying that I will choke down just about anything if it’s healthy, and makes me perform better, but I like the taste of the Progenex Belgian Chocolate. I have also tried the Strawberry Creme, and didn’t like it. I still took the Strawberry, and recovered fast, but I wouldn’t order that flavor again.

Price

This is not low cost protein powder, so if you’re on a budget it might not be for you. That being said, if you can handle $2 per two scoop protein shake, then I’d highly recommend taking Progenex Recovery.
